Meet Shetland foal Sutton and five-year-old Newfoundland pet dog Dom, who have become best buds in just a couple of days.
Four-month-old Sutton satisfied Dom on September 19, where factor they were instantly smitten with each other.
Both have actually taken to offering each other kisses, grooming each other, taking naps with each other, eating together and choosing strolls near their home in Hexham, Northumberland.
Owner Emma Bone, 33, who runs registered show kennel New Newfoundlands, has a whopping eight Newfoundland pets with her husband Mark, 40.
Out of all of the dogs, it was Dom who shared an immediate link with little Sutton.
Emma claimed: ‘We aren’t fairly sure if Sutton assumes Dom is a steed, or if Sutton assumes he is a canine, or maybe a bit of both.
‘Sutton chatters to him and whenever I step outside to head to Sutton, Dom is right there past excited, running back and forth to tell me to take him to see his buddy.
‘You can see that Sutton gets thrilled when he sees Dom coming too.’
The pair love staying with each other, also taking place lead strolls with each other.
The mum-of-three claimed: ‘It has actually been remarkable, and also it makes my heart so happy to see them with each other.’
It seems there’s something special concerning Dom, at least in Sutton’s eyes, since the little guy ‘only has eyes for his buddy Dom’.
