Hilarious Moment Baby Hippo Decides He Doesn’t Like His New Feathered Friends

This is the humorous moment a baby hippo shouted out for aid after a flock of birds attempted to ride on its back.

The hippo tried running and turning its body around to try and also get the undesirable passengers off but to no avail.

Usually, hippos and oxpecker birds have a mutually beneficial relationship where the bird will eat any ticks and various other bloodsuckers the hippo might be afflicted with.

But in this circumstances, it feels like the oxpeckers were far from invited by this young hippo.

It also attempted fake encountering the water to scare them off but this didn’t work, thankfully for the hippo, the birds quickly gave up attempting to feed as well as flew away.

The pictures were taken at the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia by Marc Mol of Switzerland, speaking about the experience he claimed:

“I was active concentrating on a pod of hippos when all of a sudden I saw the infant running toward me with his pursuers.”

“I got astonished by what was taking place, seeing this child hippo running towards me and the safety and security of water, and after that understood it was a small group of Ox-peckers that were the culprits. It was extremely entertaining to witness.”

“The baby hippo was clearly not utilized to the Red & Yellow oxpeckers on his back. He was attempting to free them off his back by turning as well as shaking as he rushed back to the safety of mum as well as the water.”

“One will always see oxpeckers on the grown-up hippos, as they share a symbiotic connection, but an initial for me with such a kid and his affiliated amusing shenanigans.”

“I had an actual laugh when I realized that I had captured something a little various and also yet extremely entertaining.”

“I like the expression on this little guy’s face as he hysterically tries to fend off what he views as irritating bugs.”

I presume this little guy simply needs a little more time prior to he can appreciate the connection in between him as well as the oxpeckers.
