An owl that comes down on individuals’ heads has actually soared a tiny Dutch community to fame. Menno Shaefer, 48, of Zaandam, Netherlands, captured this pleasant 6lb (2.7 kg) European Eagle Owl attempting to roost on the heads of passers-by in Noordeinde town.
There, it sat for as much as a min before trying to find another resting place.
“Whilst photographing the owl, it did try to land on my head when,” claimed Shaefer to NL Times.

As to why the owl acts by doing this, Schaefer said, “It was a very funny point to enjoy, however, I’m just as overwhelmed as any person as to why it does this.”
